Paragon Helmets
I'm new here and this is my first post so...Here goes.
I've recently started a new paragon in PvE and enjoying it a lot, but I've been wondering about the armor, namely the crests that paragons get. I was thinking that since they have 80 AL, and the only other class with 80 AL in the game uses helmets, that maybe paragons should be given some instead of these weird crest things.I never show my helmet status with them on, they really all look pretty much the same, the only difference would be between standard and Vabbian (that I've seen).
I first thought of this while watching a show on Greek tactics and noticed that the armor paragons have is very simillar to their ancient Mediterranean counterparts; even their weaponry is pretty close to being the same.
Now, I'm not saying a massive overhaul of the paragon crests, but I think it'd be nice to wear a cool-looking Greek/Roman-esque helmet with my 15k armor, based on what the armor is.
Feedback appreciated on my idea, but not rude criticism.
Thanks!

Meh, to me the Paragons have the crests because their armor is more based on mythology and power than physical metal and such. I liked the crests, although dying them would have been cool .

Well, some of the most famous examples of mythology have been from Greeks and Romans. I'm not saying we do away with the crests completely; we should keep them on lower level armor like the 1k stuff. But when I go and spend 60k on armor, but have the same old glowy thingamajobby on my head, it doesn't feel as cool as wearing a primeval helmet, etc. etc.

Well to clarify myself, I have nothing against helms for paras, I just think they look more mystical with the charm. Granted, like you say, there are no 15k headwear for Paras, which was dissapointing to me. More diversity would make it a lot more interesting.
And just so everyone knows, there WERE Greeks and Romans you know, they weren't mythological lol. I am more refering to the Paragon's angelic nature, which to me an angelic figure does not need a helm to protect himself, nor "regular" armor. But then again, that is my take on the whole deal .

lol, Didn't say there WEREN'T Greeks or Romans. And also, even with their angelic nature, paragons are sitting there in the middle of the fight screaming at the top of their lungs "GO TEAM!" or "KILL THE BADDIES!" Kind of a prime target for a headshot.

When Gaile explained why can't be the blindfold dyed, but Mesmer masks can, she said that different professions had different ways of model-building.
Although helms just replace hair, paragons have beards.
What would you do? Make them Greek-like helms?
Nah. They have those elementalist-like headgear already. That's more than enough.

Elementalist-like, exactly! They aren't at the backlines flinging fireballs like eles, theyre in the mid-to-front ground. Really, a little glowy circle in front of your head isn't "more than enough". I've never seen an ele with max armor that has the default floating third-eye things. Most have the orbiting ones. And what do beards have to do with anything? My warrior has a beard and he has no trouble wearing open-faced helmets.
